The Journal of Sport Biomechanics invites researchers, clinicians, sport scientists, rehabilitation specialists, biomedical engineers, and other scholars to submit high-quality manuscripts for publication.
The journal publishes original contributions that advance knowledge in sport biomechanics, human movement sciences, clinical biomechanics, and related interdisciplinary fields.
We welcome submissions including:
•    Original Research Articles
•    Systematic Reviews
•    Narrative Reviews
•    Methodological Papers
•    Short Communications
•    Letters to the Editor

The journal particularly encourages manuscripts in, but is not limited to, the following areas:
•    Sport Biomechanics
•    Clinical Biomechanics
•    Human Movement Analysis
•    Gait and Running Biomechanics
•    Balance and Postural Control
•    Motor Control and Motor Learning
•    Sports Performance Analysis
•    Sports Injuries and Injury Prevention
•    Rehabilitation Biomechanics
•    Orthotics and Prosthetics
•    Ergonomics
•    Motion Capture and Wearable Sensor Technologies
•    Electromyography (EMG) and Neuromuscular Analysis
•    Computational Biomechanics
•    Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Biomechanical Analysis

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by a rigorous double-blind peer-review process.
The journal follows a bilingual publication model. Accepted manuscripts are published in one of the following formats:
•    Extended English Abstract followed by the Full Persian Text, or
•    Full English Text followed by the Full Persian Version.
For manuscripts submitted by authors whose primary affiliation is with institutions outside Iran, the journal prepares the Persian version after acceptance without additional cost to the authors.
The Journal of Sport Biomechanics is a fully Open Access journal. Published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License and are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to ensure persistent citation and accessibility.
Detailed instructions for manuscript preparation and submission are available on the Submission Instructions page.
We look forward to receiving your valuable contributions and to advancing the science of sport biomechanics together.
