Prof. Nader Farahpour, PhD – Professor of Orthopaedic Biomechanics
Prof. Nader Farahpour is a full professor of orthopaedic biomechanics at Bu-Ali Sina University and Islamic Azad University, Hamedan, Iran. He received his PhD in Kinesiology with a specialization in orthopaedic biomechanics from the University of Montreal, Canada, in 1996. He also holds a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from the University of Tehran, Iran.

Prof. Farahpour’s research spans clinical gait analysis, electromyography, postural control, and neuromuscular biomechanics, with applications in scoliosis, ACL injury, foot orthoses, and rehabilitation. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and supervised many graduate students in both clinical and sport biomechanics.
He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Sport Biomechanics, and his academic and research leadership has made significant contributions to biomechanics education and research in Iran.
