Dr. Mahdi Majlesi is an associate professor of sport biomechanics at the Islamic Azad University, Hamedan Branch. He earned his PhD in sport biomechanics from Bu-Ali Sina University, where he focused on gait analysis in individuals with visual impairments. Over the past two decades, Dr. Majlesi has held several academic leadership roles including Vice President for Education and Cultural Affairs, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, and Director of the Biomechanics Laboratory. His research interests encompass gait analysis, balance control, orthotic interventions, and rehabilitation in populations such as children with disabilities, the elderly, and athletes with musculoskeletal injuries.
He is actively involved in national and international research collaborations. His scholarly contributions include over 70 peer-reviewed publications and the translation of several biomechanics textbooks.
