Dr. Farzam Farahmand is a Professor of Biomechanics at Sharif University of Technology and a leading expert in biomedical engineering and medical robotics in Iran. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Biomechanics) from Imperial College London and completed both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tehran.

He is the founder of the Surgical Robotics Laboratory at the Research Center for Biomedical Technologies and Robotics at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and has played a key role in advancing innovative technologies in rehabilitation and surgical systems.

Dr. Farahmand has published over 300 scientific papers and made significant contributions to the development of surgical robotics, rehabilitation devices, and biomechanical modeling. His research interests include neuromuscular biomechanics, biomedical technology, robotics, prosthetics, and motor rehabilitation.
