Dr. Gabriel Moisan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Kinetics at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), Québec, Canada. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Université de Montréal and an M.Sc. in Human Kinetics from UQTR. Prior to his academic career, he worked for five years as a practicing podiatrist in clinical settings.

Following his doctorate, Dr. Moisan completed postdoctoral research at the University of Salford in the UK and at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation and Social Integration (CIRRIS) in Québec. His disciplines include orthopedic surgery, podiatry, and sports medicine.

With over a decade of academic and clinical experience, his research expertise spans gait biomechanics, motion analysis, electromyography, pressure mapping, orthotics design, and functional movement assessment. He has published widely in the fields of rehabilitation and human movement science.
