Dr. Paul Allard is a Professor in the Department of Human Kinetics at the Université de Montréal, Canada. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the same institution and has extensive academic and clinical experience in sports medicine, orthopedics, physiotherapy, and biomedical engineering.

Over the past three decades, Dr. Allard has been actively involved in research areas such as gait biomechanics, 3D motion analysis, electromyography, posture control, and ground reaction force evaluation. He has authored numerous scientific publications and contributed to foundational texts in the field of movement science and rehabilitation.

His primary research interests include gait and motion analysis, human movement science, kinematics, and the development of innovative rehabilitation technologies. His work bridges clinical practice and research, contributing to advancements in assessment and treatment strategies for movement disorders.
