Dr. Abbas Meamarbashi is a Professor of biomechanics at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, Iran. He also served as a Visiting Professor at McGill University, Canada, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Dr. Meamarbashi’s research interests span sports biomechanics, sports engineering, and ergonomics. He has published extensively on topics such as the effects of peppermint oil on athletic performance, the development of reaction time assessment tools, and the design of start blocks for track and field.

As a senior academic, he has supervised numerous graduate students, led research projects in sports technology innovation, and contributed significantly to the advancement of laboratory and training equipment used in sport science.
