Dr. Giti Torkaman is a Professor of Physiotherapy at Tarbiat Modares University. She holds a Ph.D. in Medical Physics (1999) and an M.Sc. in Physiotherapy (1991) from Tarbiat Modares University, as well as a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy (1988) from Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran. She is a senior faculty member with extensive academic, research, and clinical experience in rehabilitation and human movement sciences.

Her research interests include physiotherapy, movement analysis, limb biomechanics, and the application of medical physics in rehabilitation. Dr. Torkaman has actively contributed to interdisciplinary research projects involving musculoskeletal assessment, clinical biomechanics, and the use of imaging and dynamic analysis methods in clinical practice.
