هدف به‌رغم ایجاد تحول در دویدن استقامتی از طریق افزایش نیروهای عکس‌العمل زمین، اثر بیومکانیکی کفش‌های کربن‌دار ممکن است بسته به آناتومی فردی پا متفاوت باشد. بنابراین، هدف از انجام تحقیق حاضر، بررسی تاثیر کفش‌های دارای صفحه کربنی بر مولفه‌های نیروی عکس‌العمل زمین در حین راه رفتن در دوندگان دارای ناهنجاری پای پرونیت بود.
روش‌ها تحقیق حاضر از نوع نیمه‌تجربی و آزمایشگاهی بود. سی دونده دارای پای پرونیت به صورت تصادفی در دو گروه کفش کربن‌دار (۱۵ نفر) و کفش معمولی (۱۵ نفر) قرار گرفتند. داده‌های کینتیکی با استفاده از صفحه نیروی برتک با نرخ نمونه‌برداری ۱۰۰۰ هرتز ثبت شد. مقایسه دو گروه با آزمون ‪t‬ مستقل در سطح معناداری ۰٫۰۵ انجام شد.
یافته‌ها در فاز پاسخ بارگذاری، اوج مؤلفه‌های داخلی-خارجی (0.04=P و 1.16=d) و قدامی-خلفی (0.01=p و 0.99=d) و همچنین زمان رسیدن به اوج مؤلفه قدامی-خلفی (0.02=p و 0.872=d) در کفش کربنی بیشتر بود. در فاز هل‌دادن نیز نیروی عمودی (0.02=P و 0.906=d) و زمان رسیدن به اوج مؤلفه‌های قدامی-خلفی (0.009=P و 1.027=d) و عمودی (0.006=P و 1.098=d) در کفش کربنی افزایش یافت.
نتیجه‌گیری کفش دارای صفحه فیبر کربنی الگوی نیروهای عکس‌العمل زمین را طی راه‌رفتن در دوندگان دارای پای پرونیت تغییر داد. افزایش زمان رسیدن به اوج برخی نیروها و افزایش نیروهای برشی و عمودی در فاز هل‌دادن، بیانگر تغییر در الگوی اعمال و انتقال نیرو در تعامل پا و کفش و زمین است.
