Journal of Sport Biomechanics is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal owned and published by Islamic Azad University, Hamedan Branch, Iran. Established in 2015, the journal is published quarterly and provides an international platform for the dissemination of high-quality research in sport biomechanics, human movement sciences, and related interdisciplinary fields. All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, originality, and integrity. The journal welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, narrative reviews, methodological papers, short communications, and letters to the Editor that contribute to the advancement of biomechanics, movement science, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and exercise science. The Journal of Sport Biomechanics aims to advance scientific knowledge and promote interdisciplinary research in all areas of biomechanics related to human movement and physical activity. The journal particularly encourages studies focusing on sport biomechanics, clinical biomechanics, gait and running analysis, balance and postural control, motor control and motor learning, sports injuries and injury prevention, rehabilitation biomechanics, orthotics and prosthetics, ergonomics, wearable technologies, motion analysis, computational biomechanics, artificial intelligence applications in biomechanics, digital health technologies, and other emerging areas related to human movement and performance. The journal follows a bilingual publication model. Each published article is available in one of the following formats: (1) an Extended English Abstract followed by the full Persian manuscript, or (2) a full English manuscript followed by its full Persian version. This publication model enhances the international visibility of published research while maintaining accessibility for Persian-speaking researchers and practitioners. As a fully Open Access journal, all published articles are freely available immediately upon publication under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, ensuring unrestricted access, sharing, and reuse with appropriate attribution.

4. Language Policy
The Journal of Sport Biomechanics follows a bilingual publication model. Authors may submit manuscripts in either Persian or English.
• Persian-language manuscripts are published with an Extended English Abstract followed by the full Persian text.
• English-language manuscripts are published as a full English article accompanied by a full Persian version.
Authors whose primary affiliation is with institutions outside Iran are not required to submit the Persian version of their manuscripts. Upon acceptance, the journal will prepare the Persian translation at no cost to the authors.
5. Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief based solely on the scientific quality, originality, and relevance of submitted manuscripts. The publisher has no influence on editorial decisions, peer review outcomes, or acceptance and rejection of manuscripts. The Journal of Sport Biomechanics is committed to maintaining editorial independence and transparency throughout the publication process.
6. Open Access
The Journal of Sport Biomechanics is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication without subscription or access restrictions. Articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.
7. Publication Charges
There is no submission fee for manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Sport Biomechanics. An Article Processing Charge (APC) is required only after acceptance of manuscripts submitted by authors whose primary affiliation is with an institution in Iran. Authors whose primary affiliation is with an institution outside Iran are exempt from publication charges. 8. Publication Ethics
The Journal of Sport Biomechanics is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and research integrity. The journal's editorial policies have been developed with reference to internationally recognized recommendations, including those published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).
